Donations help alleviate the cost for participation on our team. Clay target shooting can be an expensive sport as our supplies like ammunition and targets have a one-time use. Repetitive practice and live target shooting are the best way to improve and every time you practice it costs and that starts to add up. The increased practice that our students get through additional shooting at our college has had numerous kids improve their average by 2-3 targets throughout the year which can be a 10% increase.
Coaches Message
Students participating on the Clay Target come from various
different backgrounds and form a mutual bond and friendship that always amazes
me. They aren’t hand picked and recruited in traditional ways but instead
express an interest and have had various experiences from little to no
experience to being a regular competitor and the individual and team bonding
and growth that occurs in our very short season is amazing to watch. This past
year at our year end tournament every one of the students had so much fun and
numerous student athletes said it will be one of their best memories in
